• PROFINET side supports up to 32 slots, with a maximum input byte size of 1440 and a maximum output byte size of 1440 (the usable length depends on the specific PLC and the PDU size of the communication module). The length of the input and output bytes can be set via software like TIA Portal or STEP 7.
